Chris Mann has been mentoring me in my business for over 7 years. In 2019 as part of the mentoring program, I undertook a DISC assessment. This allowed me to better understand myself in relation to my patterns or styles of: behaviour; communication; strengths; work. This also helped me understand how I relate to other people in those same four areas.

In 2021 we arranged for my colleague, Craig, to undertake the DISC assessment so we could better identify how well we work together as a team, and how we can best relate to our clients – and what type of person we might need to employ to strengthen any areas where we might have a shortfall.

Chris has walked through these assessments with Craig and me together and it has given us great insight into how we can utilise each other’s strengths. As a result, we are now reworking our presentations to clients so we can feel more confident and comfortable in the way we meet our clients’ needs.
